I had just gotten married and my wife and I were staying with her parents for Thanksgiving. This was the first time I had stayed with them. When I was taking a shower the drain clogged up and water started to run all over the bathroom! I felt terrible. Then, when I got out of the shower I slipped on the wet floor and ended up doing the splits. Here’s the problem—I’m no gymnast. I yelled out in pain, and my mother-in-law, father-in-law and wife all came to the door and started knocking and asking if I was OK. In this sad, quivering voice, I replied, “I . . . think . . . so.” Luckily it ended up just being a strain. Nothing serious. But man, that was embarrassing.

Once our toilet overflowed in the downstairs powder room. The plummer tried to get the drain clear unsuccessfully, and told me he might have to take the bowl off to get at the problem, which would have cost lots of money. He gave it one more shot before he did the drastic thing, and lo and behold he pulled out my young son's swimming trunks from the toilet. I'm still not sure why my son put it down the toilet and flushed it, but was sure glad the plummer found it. He (the plummer) didn't seem too surprised.

I had given my cat a bath, and my tub drain was clogged. I had drano and decided to give it a go-nothing. So I bought the strong max drano--still nothing. I was about to call a plumber, and shell out some money. And while I plunged one last time, the plunger pulled at this knob that closes the drain to make it a bath. All along my bath tub wasnt clogged...it just was turned off to any water draining-my cats foot mustve pulled it close. Well at least my drains are super clean now!
